Nordic Council of Ministers/Nordic Institute on Åland - 2014 - 2022

I have worked with the Nordic Council of Ministers' 2030 vision, which states that the Nordic region must become the world's most sustainable and integrated region. I have concentrated on making the vision a reality with the prioritization of three strategic areas in the work of the Nordic Council of Ministers: A green Nordic, a competitive Nordic and a socially sustainable Nordic.

I have worked purposefully to strengthen cultural life on Åland, to promote Åland's active participation in Nordic cooperation and to develop cooperation between Åland and the other Nordic countries in the field of general culture. My task was also to participate in modernization processes and bring the cultural institute up to date. Therefore, I have particularly focused on organizational development, management and work with the institute's core tasks with successes within cross-sector collaboration, children and youth strategies, the necessity of culture and digital cultural production

DR Big Band has set the tone on the Danish jazz scene since 1964, and the band has over time collaborated with a number of legendary American and Nordic jazz names. The band delivers real, American big band sound with a modern, Nordic twist. I mainly concentrated on tour production in the EU

JazzDanmark contributes to strengthening and developing musical life in Denmark and Danish music abroad, mainly within jazz and related genres, and works to put Danish jazz on the world map. My task was primarily to move the organization physically and create the best framework for a new leadership.

Project manager

JazzDenmark 2005 - 2011

I mainly worked with international production and planning as well as cultural diplomacy tasks aimed at new countries in the EU. This is where my model for cross sectoral co-creation was born, which came about through the successful international collaborations that were established from scratch. The project owners were the Danish Agency for Culture and I represented JazzDanmark and had the leadership role. The project was scheduled for 1 year, but the success meant that it was extended quite significantly.

Høst & søn - 1998, 1999 & 2008
De Små Synger is a collection of children's songs that have become an institution in Denmark and entered into the Danish cultural canon. I produced a number of publications for the publisher Høst&Søn/Rosinante which have achieved cult status and received both gold and platinum. Sold in millions over more than 25 years.

Cultural consultant

Danish Jazz Federation 2000 - 2005

Advisor, consultant and producer at The Danish Jazz Association, the forerunner of JazzDanmark. Primary tasks were advice on support options, administration of support schemes, as well as concert production and development of projects. Responsible for successes such as Jazz Venue of the Year and Winterjazz, which are now produced by Copenhagen JazzFestival.
